Wedsy connects to ChatGPT, Claude and any other assistant that speaks MCP. Ask about your own wedding and get real answers from your real plan — not a guess.
Connector URL
https://wedsy.app/api/mcpIn ChatGPT, add it under Settings → Connectors. In Claude, add it under Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Both will walk you through signing in to Wedsy and choosing which wedding to share.
Works without an account
These run off Wedsy's planning logic — the same checklist template and floor-plan engine the app uses — so the answers cannot drift from the product.
Wedding checklist
Give it a date and it works backwards to a dated plan, flagging what is already overdue.
Reception room sizing
Table count and the minimum room or marquee footprint, from the same engine as Wedsy's table plan tool.
Supplier search
UK suppliers who maintain their own Wedsy listing, by category and area.
Connect your wedding
Sign in once and the assistant can answer from your actual plan.

What it never sees
Guest names, email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses stay in Wedsy. So do photos, guestbook messages and anything to do with payments. The assistant gets counts and totals — enough to be useful, not enough to leak your guest list.
Consent is per wedding. If you are planning more than one, connecting the first tells the assistant nothing about the second.
Disconnect whenever you like from Settings → Connected assistants.
Questions
Is Wedsy an official ChatGPT app?+
Wedsy publishes an MCP server, the open standard both ChatGPT and Claude use to connect to outside tools. You add it yourself using the connector URL below. It is not yet listed in ChatGPT's in-app app directory.
Do I need a Wedsy account?+
Not for the planning tools — the checklist builder, room sizing and supplier search work with no account at all. Connecting your own wedding needs a free Wedsy account and a sign-in step.
What can the assistant actually see?+
Only the one wedding you pick when you connect, and only summary planning data: checklist, budget totals, RSVP counts and which suppliers are booked. Guest names, contact details, photos and payment information are never shared. If you grant permission to make changes, it can add and tick off checklist tasks and nothing else.
Can I disconnect it?+
Yes, at any time, from Settings → Connected assistants in Wedsy. Access stops immediately. You can also remove the connector from ChatGPT or Claude.
Does it cost anything?+
No. The connector is free, and the Wedsy couple plan is free.
